Job Title Registered Nurse Program & Department Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre -> Cancer Program -> Radiation Oncology Nursing Regular / Temporary Casual Full / Part Time Part-Time Temporary End Date (Anticipated) Union ONA Requisition Close Date 06 September 2026 FTE 0.00 Salary Plan / Job Grade $41.15 - $58.98 ( ON_02 ) Job Posting Reason Current Vacancy Job Summary & Requirements REGISTERED NURSE, RADIATION ONCOLOGY The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who is responsible and accountable for providing quality patient care within a delivery model in accordance with the philosophy, policies and standards of care of the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH), the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and all relevant legislation. The Radiation Oncology RN assesses, plans, coordinates and manages care of Radiation Oncology patients and families in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team and according to departmental routines.
Part-time casual Registered Nurse position requiring current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, current BCLS certification, post-diploma Radiation Oncology Nursing and Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy courses, and current CNA Certification in Oncology or completion within two years of hire. Minimum three years of oncology inpatient or ambulatory care experience is required, along with CVAD experience. Strong communication, organizational, critical thinking, computer literacy, and interprofessional collaboration skills are required.
