Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting the following procedures:
  • Abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, breast imaging and small parts are required
  • Knowledge of musculoskeletal, neuro-sonography and vascular imaging are assets
  • Assist in Interventional biopsy procedures
  • Perform portable exams

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have successfully completed a Sonography program from a recognized institution
  • Must be registered and in good standing with CMRITO
  • Current hospital experience is preferred
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • Superior organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities with good attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession
  • Excellent attendance and performance record required
  • Experience with PACS and HIS systems is preferred
