About the role

The Kinesiologist will provide one-on-one and group exercise prescription while coordinating disability management and conducting functional assessments. They are also responsible for performing job site visits and designing return-to-work plans for clients with various health conditions.

*This role is to specifically to service Job Site Visits for our Hand Therapy Program*.

  • Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day
  • Be responsible for the provision of one-on-one and group kinesiology exercise prescription
  • Provide disability management coordination
  • Complete functional assessments and associated reports
  • Work with a client profile that can range from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, to cognitive and/or mood related
  • Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
  • Perform job site visits and design return to work plans
  • Here’s what you’ll need to be successful
  • You are a graduate of a recognized School of Kinesiology
  • You are a registered member in good standing with the BCAK
  • Experience within Return to Work and Job Site Visits as well as Chronic Pain clients
  • You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of a recognized School of Kinesiology and hold active registration with the BCAK. Experience in return-to-work programs, job site visits, and working with chronic pain clients is required.
