Job Description

To provide quality patient care to postpartum women, newborns and their families.

Qualifications

Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required. Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire. Breastfeeding certificate required. Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification required. Perinatal Nursing Certificate an asset. Venipuncture and I.V. therapy skills. Demonstrated ability to work with families. Demonstrated ability to support the breastfeeding woman. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position. Satisfactory employment and attendance record required.

Additional Information

Hours of Work: Monday to Sunday, nights, 19:30 to 07:30 (Hours subject to changed based on operational needs) Salary: $36.08 to $39.02 per hour

Requirements
