The Radiological Technologist works in a computerized environment, producing diagnostic radiographs as assigned and carrying out diagnostic procedures either independently or in collaboration with a radiologist or other physician; applies radiation safety principles and practices to protect patients, staff, and the general public; and completes required documentation and administrative tasks.
CAMRT certification as a Medical Radiation Technologist..
Graduation from an approved radiology technology program..
Eligibility for membership in the CAMRT..
Ability to organize and prioritize work..
Effective verbal and written communication skills..
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team..
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships..
Physical ability to meet the requirements of the job..
Mammography experience is preferred for this position, with training available if no experienced applicants are selected.
