Remains calm and manages stress appropriately.</li> <li>Deliver safe administration of medication and treatments with a focus on accuracy, quality and meeting our residents&rsquo; quality of life requests.&nbsp;</li> <li>Follow plans of care (or service plans) in accordance with the standards of the College of Nurses and able to identify and report any changes in the resident&rsquo;s well-being to the Charge Nurse or Village leadership team.</li> <li>Have an understanding of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, and regulations applicable to the Long-Term Care sector, including the Fixing Long-Term.

Care Act, 2021, and the Occupational Health &amp; Safety Act (OSHA) of Ontario.</li> <li>Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of personal care to our residents.</li> <li>Work as a key member of our Village and Neighbourhood multidisciplinary team to understand residents&rsquo; individual needs, and advocate for residents to actively participate in decisions about their care, support new resident move-ins, facilitate transfers to hospital, or any changes in resident medical needs.</li> <li>Collaborate with the Neighbourhood Physician during weekly rounds and update care plans and directions accordingly.</li> <li>Have proficient communication and computer skills in order to update care plans in the current system.</li> <li>Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the RPN role.</li> <li>Proven alignment with our organizational vision, mission, and values of Caring relationships, Persistent and passionate, Positive, Can-do attitude, Creative and innovative, Hardworking and hands-on, Genuine and humble; as well as, the values of the Customer Experience Credo (Know Me, Be Present, Walk in My Shoes, Earn Trust and Follow Through).</li> </ul> <p><strong>It would be an asset if our new Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) has:</strong></p> <ul> <li>MDS credentials.</li> <li>Experience working with people living with Dementia.</li> <li>Knowledge of the palliative assessments scale.</li> <li>Comfortable supporting residents and their families during end-of-life care.</li> <li>Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices applicable to the retirement and long-term care sector (e.g.
