About the Role
- The position requires sound clinical judgment, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to respond confidently in fast-paced and unpredictable situations. We provide comprehensive nursing care within a multidisciplinary correctional healthcare team. You will work with clients presenting a wide range of health needs, including:

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
- Current RN registration, in good standing, with a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority.
- Recent RN experience in an emergency department or rural community health centre is required.
- Recent experience working in an expanded nursing role.
- Recent experience working with addiction medicine, including assessments, initiation of treatment and monitoring.
- Recent experience working with clients with complex mental health needs, including comprehensive assessments, management and individualized treatment plan development and monitoring.
- Experience working in a Correctional intuition would be an asset.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations would be an asset. Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Current RN registration in good standing with a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority.
