Rehabilitation Assistant/OTA/PTA We're looking for a passionate Rehabilitation Therapist to provide in-home and community-based OTA/PTA services in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM).

In this role, you'll support individuals recovering from car accidents, medical trauma, helping them regain mobility, function, and confidence in their daily lives.

You would be the ideal candidate if you have experience working with brain injuries, mental health, and/or chronic pain, enjoy collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, and are interested in working in an in-home or community setting.

Requirements to Succeed: Clinical experience in the private sector is an asset including areas within the MVA (motor vehicle accident) system, brain injury and rehabilitation Experience working in a multidisciplinary team under the delegated authority and clinical supervision of a Registered Healthcare Professionals Graduate of an accredited OTA/PTA dual-stream diploma program, or post secondary education in a related health field Strong verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills Proficient computer skills (i.e. ability to work in MS Word) Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset Valid Standard First Aid and CPR level C certification Smartphone with a data plan Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 3 months Valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle Why Join Spark Lifecare?

RATE OF PAY 60% of billable services: Expect an all-inclusive payout range of $48.00 to $57.00/hour Note: This flat hourly rate represents total compensation for the scheduled session milestone and is inclusive of all required travel time to and from client homes, vehicle expenses, and professional documentation/charting time.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited OTA/PTA dual-stream diploma program or related health field. A valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and current First Aid/CPR certification are required.
