About the role

The Registered Nurse will conduct assessments and contribute to multi-disciplinary treatment plans for individuals with substance use and concurrent mental health concerns. They will provide medical and non-medical interventions across various clinic settings while coordinating care with community agencies and practitioners.

This includes the provision of medical and non-medical interventions within our Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinic (RAAM), Fit-In Clinic, outpatient withdrawal management (day detox) and larger COMPASS programs. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and contributing to multi-disciplinary treatment plans that will involve liaising with other services, community agencies, and practitioners to coordinate and deliver care for clients in an efficient and safe manner.

Requirements

Candidates must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess a current B.C.L.S. certificate with at least two years of nursing experience. Experience in addiction medicine is required, and preference is given to those with a B.Sc.N or CNA certification in psychiatric/mental health nursing.
