The Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for the daily provision of nursing care, including resident assessment and treatment implementation. They must also manage pharmaceutical dispensing and maintain accurate charting documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Position: Registered Practical Nurse
This position is responsible for the daily provision of nursing care to residents including assessment of individual requirements, implementation of appropriate treatment, dispensing pharmaceuticals, and accurate charting documentation and recording as required by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) legislation, College of Nurses standards of practice and Ritz Lutheran Villa policies and procedures. The RPN works closely with the nursing staff and reports to the Registered Nurse on duty.

Candidates must hold current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess a current CPR Heart Saver Certificate. Experience working with vulnerable populations in a long-term care setting is preferred.
