Pharmacy services include I.V. antineoplastic admixture, investigational drug studies, provision of drug information, and patient teaching at one of the six CancerCare Manitoba sites.
The successful candidate will be working with hazardous materials on a daily basis. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and training are provided. Primary working hours are Monday to Friday day shifts.
Qualifications: Required
Graduate of Pharmacy from a recognized University Licensed to practice in Manitoba Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Accuracy and attentive to details Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel Knowledge of current pharmacy computer systems and software Satisfactory employment record Must be able to legally work in Canada
Three (3) years’ experience as a Staff Pharmacist Experience in an institutional pharmacy Experience with oncology pharmacy
Asset: Commitment to ongoing professional development Leadership and self-development Ability to speak French
