The Registered Nurse will conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and provide pre- and post-procedure education. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
C-Care Health Services is looking for a Cantonese-speaking Registered Nurse (RN) to be assigned to an eye clinic North York. Must be available to work at least once a week (Wednesday), 7:30am to 12:30pm.

Scope and Responsibilities
1. Document and Charting
Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
Ensure all documents comply with legal and regulatory requirements, while maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy. 2. Nursing Assessments, Pre-, and Post-Procedure Assistance
Conduct patient assessments before procedure and ensure good physical and psychological condition.
Take and monitor vital signs and other aspects of physical condition.
Educate patients on the procedures being performed and provide more information and set expectations.
Educate patients and families on post-procedure guidelines including but not limited to care, pain management, and prescribed medication. 3. Safety and Infection Control
Adhere to standard precautions such as proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment as needed, and proper handling of disposal and wastes.
Ensure a safe and clean environment through proper disinfection practices and following infection control protocols.

Candidates must hold a Nursing Diploma and an active CNO Registered Nurse license. Fluency in Cantonese and a valid BLS certificate are mandatory requirements for this role.
