Reporting to the Supervisor or delegate the Core Laboratory Technologist performs established laboratory procedures, including hematology, chemistry and transfusion medicine.
Registration through a relevant CAMLPR pathway or certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the CSMLS.
Graduation from a recognized diploma program in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Completion of core laboratory courses within the last two years, or one year of recent related core laboratory experience within the last six years, or an equivalent combination.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize workload, operate related equipment, and demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.
