The Community Assistant will manage the Community Health Hub building, coordinate staff transportation, and support health service delivery. They will also assist clients with therapy plans, monitor progress, and facilitate clinic visits for visiting professionals.
Under SLFNHA’s Developmental Services, the SLFNHA Aide - Community Assistant, DS (Keewaywin) will support all health services delivered by SLFNHA and the administrative duties of the “Community Health Hub”. This would include the maintenance and management of the building, arranging transportation to and from airport for staff, support booking of clients, providing support to individual clients and families by follow-up, monitoring and carrying out services as directed by SLFNHA Health Care Professional staff.

The Aide - Community Assistant, DS will be accountable to the Developmental Services Manager - Clinical and Coordinator - Community for mentorship and day to day support.
