Position Summary

Respiratory Therapists provide respiratory therapy service 24/7 to patients in the Intensive Care Units, Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, Post Anesthetic Care Rooms, Wards and in other specialty areas such as the Hyperbaric Medicine Unit.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist in Adult Critical Care preferred Registration with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists Registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario Certified Hyperbaric Medical Technologist (CHT) preferred Ability to work in a Hyperbaric environment required and Hyperbaric Medicine experience preferred Ability to perform without direct supervision Effective communication skills Commitment to personal and professional development
