This position has been developed for the purpose of supporting the Forensic Clinical Chairs in the key areas of Correctional Psychiatry Violence Reduction Sexual Disorders and Recovery. This role will support research and quality improvement initiatives under the supervision of the Clinical Chair. In alignment with the overall work of the Forensic Psychiatry Program this role will encompass a focus on public safety addressing stigma and discrimination and changing public attitudes in relation to issues that are central to work within the field of Forensic Psychiatry.
The Research Assistant will support the academic mission of the Forensic Psychiatry Program. The incumbent will work under clearly defined research requirements and / or supervision. Hours will vary based on current demands (e.g. grants participant availability).

Candidates must possess at least a three-year college diploma in Psychology, Health Sciences, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, and the ability to perform clinical tasks like venipuncture are required.
