Acclaim Health is pleased to announce an opening for two (2) Casual Personal Support Worker position at Patty’s Place. Work shifts can be Mornings (7:00am – 12:30pm/12:00pm), Evenings (6:00pm – 11:30pm/11:00pm), or Overnights (7:30pm – 7:30am) on an as-needed basis. As a casual employee, you are required to work a minimum of five (5) shifts per month, including at least two (2) weekend shifts.
$22.29- $23.39 per hour.

Provides homemaking and personal support services to individuals in shared care facility.
Provides personal care and activities of daily living to clients
Performs delegated tasks as directed and trained by a Care Manager, Health Services
Assists with meal preparation and feeding as required.
Assists/engages in therapeutic recreation and activities as appropriate during the client’s stay in the overnight service area
Communicates changes in client condition or other complex situations to the Respite Coordinator
Documents information pertinent to the client’s stay in overnight respite service.
Effectively utilizes recognized GPA principles, communication and behaviour management strategies for working with persons with dementia
Works in a manner that ensures client safety
