The Personal Support Worker is responsible for implementing resident care plans to ensure optimal functioning, safety, and well-being in a long-term care setting. They provide direct assistance with hygiene, feeding, mobility, and daily activities while maintaining a supportive and therapeutic environment.
Clinical Practicum hours within the Personal Support Worker program consist of a minimum of one hundred and forty (140) hours, as practical experience, preferably with clinic experience in a geriatric or long term care setting.
