Must have either Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate or Nursing students, or International Educated Nurses or Health Care Aid Previous hands-on experience providing personal care to clients is preferred. Must have a recent Vulnerable Sector Check. Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate is considered an asset What We're Looking For
Experience in pediatric care for developmentally delayed patients A caregiver who engages fully with clients—present, attentive, and relationship-focused, not just task-focused Experience with assisted transfers and total feeding support Reliable and consistent As A PSW You Will
May include but is not limited to, assisting individuals with daily living such as personal care and hygiene (i.e., Toileting, bathing, feeding, etc.), light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, nutrition, shifts reports, and creating activity plans.
Maintain complete and confidential information for each individual supported.
Provide social/emotional support to clients and their families, able to provide care in a kind and understanding manners to seniors.
