What You’ll Do Reporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care the Clinic Nurse works as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated care with other health professionals and support the overall function of the clinic. ___________________________________________________ What We’re Looking For

◈ Life and Work Experience Three to five years’ experience in community nursing working with diverse populations Previous clinic experience an asset Previous experience using an EMR, preferably Practice Solutions Suite (PSS) Experience providing routine immunizations for all ages ◈ Your Education Path Current license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (RN/RPN) Current CPR (preferred) ◈ Required Language Fluency in English required Working knowledge of French or other languages an asset

What You Bring to the Table Knowledge of primary health care and the social determinants of health Able to work effectively in an inter-professional environment Knowledge and awareness related to cultural competence Experience working with disadvantaged communities Knowledge of nursing care related to Primary Care/Community Health/Chronic Disease Management ___________________________________________________ Your Day-to-Day at a Glance As our Clinic Nurse, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Nursing assessments Telephone & in-person triage Administer medications & treatments Client education Perform procedures within the scope of practice such as wound care, ear syringing Client advocacy

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current license with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN or RPN. Three to five years of community nursing experience with diverse populations and proficiency in EMR systems are required.
