Job Description

Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the (CPSS).

  • Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC
  • Licenses
  • Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.
  • Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan).
  • Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC; or
  • Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a Physician Assistant

Requirements

Candidates must hold an accredited Physician Assistant degree and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Certification as a Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) or equivalent is required.
