We actively involve our team in shaping company goals. We have 3 casual PSWs vacancy available for MALE PSW/DSW for our high behavior community clients. The ideal candidate drives their own reliable car, holds a current CPI blue card or Safe Management certificate, or has 3+ years experience with youth with high behaviors such as ADHD, Autism, etc. Scheduling is flexible, after school hours mostly, 4 hour shift blocks and open availability is an asset. Evenings and night availability are a requirement. Job Benefits: Pay $25.00 per hour Benefits Plan available after working 30+ hours per week
4% Vacation Pay on every pay Flexible hours The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following: Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and personal care including eating, dressing, transferring, toileting, hygiene, grooming, and bathing as per client's care plan Supporting client with any assigned exercises daily if required Providing medication support and management Providing cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral and spiritual support Able to reapproach and understand avoiding triggers. Comfortable driving clients to events, community activities in own vehicle Maintaining open communication with client and family Monitoring care plan and adding detailed documentation with any changes and updates Responding to all emergency situations All other duties, as assigned Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to: PSW/DSW certification from a public college/learning center OR additional NACC certification is required PSW experience of over 3 years is *required*
Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license Valid CPR/First Aid certification Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months CPI BLUE CARD or Safe Management is requested, but not required 2 Satisfactory professional references Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters Please submit the appropriate documents for review.
