Provides nursing care to high-risk, critically ill clients in an intensive care unit, including the management of life-support equipment. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to enhance quality of life and ensure adherence to BCCNM standards of practice.
Education, Licensing, & Experience: FRCPC in Internal Medicine. A Certificate of Special Competence in Cardiology. Eligibility for licensure in the Province of British Columbia. Completed training in a women’s heart health program (ideally in a recognized international fellowship program). Preference will be given to those with an interest in education scholarship and/or research in women’s heart health. Candidates with additional other expertise will also be considered depending on the needs of the Division. Knowledge & Abilities: Exceptional communication and teaching skills. A demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students. A proven record of excellence in teaching.
