Reporting to the Manager of Laboratory Services and Medical Imaging, the incumbent will be responsible for the performance and interpretation of diagnostic laboratory tests and associated tasks and duties as required. Hours of work are all shifts, including weekends. About the Benefits In return for your dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractive hourly salary of $36.84 - $50.24 based on experience.

  • To qualify for the role you will need to have:
  • Completion of a recognized General Medical Laboratory Technologist program;
  • Current active, practicing registration with CMLTO;
  • Previous experience in Laboratory Technology doing general work in all areas;
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills;
  • Effective organizational, time management and prioritization skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to laboratory programs;
  • Ability to work independently and accurately;
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance Programs and accreditation standards;
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history and positive work references.

Requirements

Completion of a recognized General Medical Laboratory Technologist program.

Current active, practicing registration with CMLTO.

Previous experience in Laboratory Technology doing general work in all areas.

Demonstrated problem solving skills.

Effective organizational, time management and prioritization skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to laboratory programs.

Ability to work independently and accurately.

Knowledge of Quality Assurance Programs and accreditation standards.

Demonstrated excellent attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history and positive work references.
