About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse will deliver medication to patient homes, assist with self-administered medication, and provide clinical support including insulin dosing. Additionally, the role involves maintaining patient room cleanliness and documenting visit details via company mobile applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will play an important part in supporting Mint’s commitment to exceptional service, operational excellence, and a positive experience for patients, customers, and team members.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

Delivery of medication

  • Taking daily medication to the homes of our patients
  • Clinical
  • Support:
  • Prompt and observe of insulin dosing
  • Medication
  • Assistance: Assisting with self-administered medication or providing reminders.
  • Environmental
  • Maintenance: Maintaining clean, safe, and tidy patient rooms.

Reporting

  • Reporting changes in patient condition, and behavior
  • Documentation : Documenting visit details using apps on the company phone

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for someone who brings the right mix of experience, professionalism, initiative, and care.

The ideal candidate will have

Education

A recognized Licenses Practical Nurse Certificate, or enrollment in a nursing program with practical experience.

Certification

  • Registration with relevant provincial bodies (e.g., CLHA in BC).
  • Must be able to submit a letter of good standing
  • Flexible schedule : must be available for 7 am start, and available on weekends
  • Soft
  • Skills: Strong communication, patience, empathy, and the ability to work in a team.

  • Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license

  • Check : less than 3 years old
