The Registered Nurse provides rehabilitative care to patients with various disabilities within a multidisciplinary clinical unit. They are expected to function as an active member of the clinical team while adhering to a primary nursing model.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the provision of rehabilitative care to patients with a variety of disabilities, and function as a member of a clinical unit comprised of multidisciplinary staff.

Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nursing of Ontario as a Registered Nurse 2.
Recent experience (within 2 years) with a rehabilitation, medical, geriatric or orthopedic patients population 3.
Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills 4.
Demonstrated knowledge of Rehabilitation nursing 5.
Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary care and a nursing professional practice model 6.
Knowledge of outcome measurement, e.g.
Functional Independence Measure 7.
Familiar with a Primary Nursing model of care
Candidates must hold a current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nursing of Ontario. Recent experience within a rehabilitation, medical, geriatric, or orthopedic setting is required.
