The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or a nursing diploma and be registered or eligible for registration with the CRNS. Additional requirements include a valid Class 5 driver's license, CPR certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
