Job Description

Performs a variety of analytical procedures, analysis and laboratory duties for the detection, diagnosis, prevention and management of disease and illness.

  • Major dependent on specific specialty area:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in defined science & required courses
  • BSC 4-yr degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
  • Intro Chemistry (similar to U of R Chemistry 104 or 105)
  • Organic Chemistry (similar to U of R Chemistry 241)
  • Analytical Chemistry I, II (similar to U of R Chemistry 210, 310/215)
  • Separation Chemistry (Similar to U of R Chemistry 312)
  • Biochemistry (6 Cr. Hrs.)
  • Statistics (3 Cr. Hrs.)
