Education, Licensing, & Experience: Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Eligible – Mandatory Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) – Mandatory Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License – Full/Provisional Specific training requirements may be needed for certain programs: Palliative Care – Candidates should meet least one of the following 3 criteria: Recognized with a Certificate of Added Competency in Palliative Care by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP-PC); Completed “Year of Added Competency” training in Palliative Care at an accredited training site; Holder of Palliative Medicine credentials earned in another jurisdiction that are acceptable to both the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and the governing body of the Health Authority and its Affiliates.
