09/11/2026 FTE: 0.70 Anticipated Shift: Days;Nights;Weekends Work Arrangement: In Person Daily Hours Worked: 7.75 Annual Base Hours: 2015 Salary: $21.473, $22.101, $22.751, $23.421, $24.109, $24.819 Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general direction supervision of the Supervisor-Diagnostic Imaging Support and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of Shared Health, the Porter - Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for: transporting and assisting patients; attending to the needs of patients; documenting appropriate information; wiping down equipment and ensuring same is in adequate working order; ensuring rooms are properly stocked with linen; ensuring the adequate supply of oxygen tanks and changing them as required; and performing other related duties as assigned.Experience

Minimum six (6) months experience in a hospital or recognized equivalent health care setting as a patient porter or other direct patient care position is preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

Grade 12 or recognized equivalent. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to interact well with other. Good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature. Ability to lift and move heavy patients. Physical Requirements
