The clerk will provide administrative and clerical support to the Crisis and Critical Care Unit, including reception duties and staffing coordination. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate client databases, managing supplies, and facilitating communication within the interprofessional team.
Position Description The Acute Care Program is currently seeking a full-time, temporary (12 Months) Clerk 2 to work on the Crisis and Critical Care Unit (PICU). This is an exciting professional opportunity to contribute to client care in the context of an acute care team.
Reporting to the Unit Manager and working in conjunction with the interprofessional team, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Reception and administrative/clerical support;
· Coordinating staffing;
· Organizing, monitoring and ordering supplies;
· Collecting data, updating client data bases, tracking and census systems;
· Liaising with health records;
· Arranging for meetings;
· Making appointments; and
· Performing other clerical activities, such as faxing, photocopying, scheduling meetings, supplies ordering, filing and document preparation.
