The Cardiac Resource Technologist is responsible for the diagnostic analysis of Holter tapes and monitoring the quality of cardiac recordings. They also serve as a technical resource for staff, provide cardiac education, and assist with quality assurance for ECG services.

Reports to: Supervisor, Cardiac Services Purpose of the Role: The Cardiac Resource Technologist is primarily responsible for the cardiac diagnostic analysis of Holter tapes. This includes monitoring of tapes for quality and identifying and resolving recorder and specimen related problems. The Cardiac Resource Technologist also acts as a technical and diagnostic resource for ECGs and Holters and is involved in cardiac education.
