  • Type: Clinical Service Contract Come work as a Long Term Care Physician with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Long-Term Care physician to work across our Vancouver Community care homes. We are open to applicants interested in both permanent (0.1 – 0.5 FTE) and locum opportunities. You will play a critical role in supporting the primary care needs of vancouver community residents and in the development of an inter-professional shared care team. They work within a self-directed team of physicians and other inter-professional colleagues to achieve excellence in client centred care. This innovative position will fill gaps in physician coverage across several care homes. It will be a mix of virtual and in person consultations to meet the diverse needs of residents.

Requirements

Requires current registration as a Registered Nurse with the BCCNM and completion of a recognized critical care nursing program or two years of recent, related experience. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in critical care nursing, emergency response, and the ability to work effectively within a client-centred care model.
