Provide exceptional nursing care to clients in their homes and community settings while using clinical judgment to ensure high-quality outcomes. Manage wound, ostomy, and continence care programs while maintaining professional documentation and communication.

Bayshore is looking for passionate and caring Registered Nurses specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) to join our amazing team of professionals. Bayshore Nurses are dedicated to providing exceptional Nursing care while ensuring clients are treated with respect, dignity and kindness. As a member of our team, you will use your clinical judgment and skills to ensure our clients receive the highest quality care they need and deserve.

Requirements

  • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Certification as a NSWOC/Enterostomal Therapist
  • Debridement Certification
  • Advanced wound care expertise Area of Work: Successful candidates will be seeing clients in the City of Sarnia and Lambton County, and surrounding areas. Virtual visits might be expected to do if appropriate.

Availability

  • Standard working hours are
  • Monday to
  • Friday, from 8:00
  • AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional work outside of these hours may be required at the request of your supervisor. Nursing care will be delivered with compassion, excellence and responsiveness, in the comfort and safety of their specific care setting.

Education

RN level nurses who have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current registration with the provincial licensing body.

Certification as Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) or International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) or Canadian Nurse Associate Certification (WOCC).

Two years previous experience in the development of wound care management programs in the hospital or community setting. Previous visiting nursing experience will be considered an asset.

Current CPR certification required

Other Requirements

  • Clear criminal background check (with vulnerable sector screening), negative TB test
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle
