About the role

Provide comprehensive virtual consultations and personalized treatment plans for patients navigating menopause. Manage hormone replacement therapy and coordinate care with other healthcare providers while maintaining electronic health records.

What you’ll do TELUS Health MyCare™ is committed to putting patients at the center of care by leveraging the power of technology to drive better health outcomes for Canadians so they can live happier, healthier lives. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in menopause care to provide virtual consultations to our patients. This role combines clinical expertise with digital healthcare delivery to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

  • Hours: 4hrs/wk with potential to increase
  • Compensation: $120/hr Here’s How Provide comprehensive virtual consultations and asynchronous care via chat for patients throughout their menopause journey Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating both medical and lifestyle interventions Prescribe and manage hormone replacement therapy and other appropriate medications Offer evidence-based lifestyle recommendations and wellness strategies Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and make appropriate referrals Maintain detailed electronic health records Participate in team meetings and case discussions Preventive health strategies incorporating mental health support during menopause transition, sexual health management and bone health optimization What’s in it for you? Collaborating with a dynamic team that supports women in their journey through perimenopause/menopause Experiencing the flexibility of working virtually, while also breaking down barriers to menopause care access for women across Canada Providing high quality, rewarding care to women who are suffering through the menopause transition We offer a competitive hourly rate compensation You’re the missing piece of the puzzle Licensed Nurse Practitioner with menopause certification from The Menopause Society Current PracID (Practitioner Identification Number) in Alberta Must reside in Alberta Minimum 3 years of specialized experience in menopause care Demonstrated proficiency in virtual healthcare delivery platforms Strong understanding of current menopause research and treatment options Excellence in virtual patient communication and assessment Patient-centered approach to care delivery Exceptional listening and empathy skills Ability to provide holistic care addressing physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors Team-oriented mindset with strong collaborative skills

Requirements

Must be a Licensed Nurse Practitioner residing in Alberta with a menopause certification from The Menopause Society and a current PracID. Requires a minimum of 3 years of specialized experience in menopause care and proficiency in virtual healthcare platforms.
