About the role

Provide low-barrier and equitable addiction medicine services across the Fraser South RAAC and Creekside Withdrawal Management Services. The role involves collaborative care for patients struggling with substance use within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary

Fraser Health Authority (FHA) and the Department of Addiction Medicine and Substance Use Services has opportunities for physicians to join our team.

Several opportunities throughout the region are available as a result of Fraser Health’s rapidly expanding addiction services.

We are a close knit, collaborative and friendly group of providers who genuinely enjoy the work that we do.

There are several opportunities to join our team with varying time commitments including full time, part time and occasional.

Current Opportunities: Creekside Withdrawal Management Services (CWMS) Mondays: Maternity Coverage from December 1st 2026 - August 1st 2027

Qualifications

Active license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC). Demonstrates enthusiasm and passion for providing low-barrier and equitable access to evidence-based and evidence-informed addiction medicine services. Previous experience providing addiction medicine services is an asset. ISAM or ABAM certification or CCFP(AM) are beneficial but not a requirement.
