We provide 1:1 care to clients with physical, medical, or memory impairments wherever they call home—including family homes, retirement communities, and hospitals. Active Living: Initiate and promote physical activity tailored to the client's abilities. Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals as needed. Personal Care: Prompt clients with their routine and assist directly with personal care. Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean environment (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry). Outings & Appointments: Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities. Our Ideal Candidate Enjoys caring for seniors and has a good sense of humour. Features a friendly personality, patience, and a consistently positive attitude. Communicates effectively with clients of all backgrounds. Holds themselves to the highest professional standards of reliability. Position Requirements Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR. Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Screen (copy required). COVID-19 considerations: All caregivers are to wear a mask while with a client. Personal protective equipment is provided.

Requirements

Candidates must be Canadian residents local to the area with current Standard First Aid and CPR certifications. A successful Criminal Background Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Screen, is required.
