Within the context of a patient/client and family-centred framework and continuum-based care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the vision, values and policies of the organization, performs special procedure examinations in computed tomography (CT) and radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental policy and procedures and observes safe radiation protection practices.
Receives and completes requisitions, enters relevant data into the radiology information system, prepares examination trays and patients for specific procedures, operates computerized imaging equipment including processing and archiving of acquired data and monitors the patient during the procedures and equipment performance.

ABOUT SECHELT HOSPITAL Sechelt Hospital is an acute care, 46-bed facility located in Sechelt, British Columbia and serves over 30,000+ residents of the Lower Sunshine Coast.
Sechelt Hospital provides a full range of services to the community, including Emergency care, Renal program-community dialysis units, Mental Health and Substance Use Services, surgical services, birthing for low-risk pregnancies and imaging services.
Requires CAMRT certification in Computed Tomography, completion of an advanced CT specialty program, and at least one year of recent related experience. Must hold BCLS certification and potentially complete Intravenous Therapy training.
