The Ideal Previous Work Experience Hold a valid Veterinary Technician License (RVT, LVT) You have a minimum of 1+ years experience in clinic and love all things wellness, medicine, surgery and dentistry Your Skills General knowledge of GP practices (vaccine schedules, common medication uses, preventative medicine, nutrition) Experience in anesthesia - from using a multiparameter to recalling what medications are in your arsenal to create a safe and prepared environment Dentistry - general knowledge of how to scale and polish.

Bonus points for being able to chart and perform oral nerve blocks!

Knowledge of xray positioning and how to troubleshoot Starting to build a strong foundation of technical skills - from wrangling spicy cats to being able to use your vampire skills for blood draws Communicate with empathy and act with integrity Willingness to grow and adapt; an inclination to embrace change and work together to build an optimal solution for all What You’ll Be Doing We want to empower you to use your full potential as a Registered Veterinary Technician—not only by applying your technical skills, but also by tapping into your knowledge, creativity, and passion to help drive innovation and shape the future of Juno You will be on a regular rotation of doing appointments (wellness, sick, urgent care, RVT) to anesthesia and dental days Utilizing your license to its fullest - Juno is committed to continually growing the services that can be provided and performed by our RVTs Upholding the Juno Standard of Care by taking pride in the quality of care you provide to patients and in the high standards you bring to all aspects of your work Committed to continuous growth—learning from one another, staying current through CE, and exploring new research and insights to stay at the forefront of veterinary care Our Promise To You - Where you matter At Juno, you play an important role ensuring that every pet and person who cares for them has what they need to thrive.

Interview Flow for this position Discovery Video Call with Practice Manager (30 minutes) Video Interview with Medical Operations team (45 minutes) In-clinic interview with PM & Clinical Team Offer Compensation for this position Juno Veterinary is committed to compensating our team members fairly, competitively and with clarity to support you in your growth!

This role has a hourly compensation range of $27 to 33 per hour.

This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and clinical performance.

We’re going to keep it real with you.

This range reflects the variations in experience and skillset an individual could possess within this role, as well as the growth and experience that would be needed to meet the top end of the range. (i.e., from building your skills, to becoming accomplished, to being highly proficient, all the way to achieving excellence in this role) It's also possible to join Juno at a wage above this range, which would mean you are at the very top end of experience and knowledge or perhaps you are someone who is currently working with Juno and has had the opportunity to make a significant and positive impact on our patients and our community and is thriving while doing it.

As you progress through the interview process we will be sure to discuss compensation thoroughly and clearly to support your growth and next steps in your career.

This role is located in Toronto based out of our Liberty Village clinic and reports directly to the Practice Manager.

This role is a brand new opportunity in a brand new clinic.

Requirements
