Manager, Health Services, the incumbent is responsible for: promotion and compliance with the HSC mission, objectives, goals, policies and procedures for perioperative nursing; providing a continuity of care throughout the perioperative period, using scientific and behavioral practices with the eventual goal of meeting the individual needs of the patient undergoing surgical intervention. Current related perioperative nursing experience/training required or successful completion of an accredited program in Operating Room Nursing.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required. CNA Perioperative Nursing Certification preferred.
Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM). Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. CPR training at the Health Care Provider level required.
