Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner supports the mission, philosophy and objectives of the Saskatchewan Health Authority and is responsible for assessment planning, delivery and evaluation of health care services to the long term care residents and clients in the multipurpose beds of The Yorkton & District Nursing Home. This is done in collaboration with the family physicians, other health care providers, community organizations and programs and the resident and their family.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Nurse Practitioner, along with 3 years of experience as an RN in primary, public, or acute care. Candidates must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.
