The Unit Clerk is responsible for coordinating daily staffing and scheduling needs for the Nursing Department, including managing call-ins and master schedule updates. They also assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

This Nursing Unit Clerk is responsible for coordinating the daily staffing of the Nursing Department. This role assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and other staff members.
Assists in the coordination of staffing and scheduling needs for the Nursing Department including replacement of staff on a daily "call in" basis and updating staffing changes on the Master Schedule and daily compliments.
Obtains approval for overtime work from the Director of Care.
Maintains attendance/absenteeism reports and communicates any recurrent absenteeism to the Director of Care.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Post-secondary education an asset.
Must have exceptional English communication skills, both orally and in writing.
May be required to obtain and maintain current CPR.
$20.70 per hour
Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
