  • Type: Clinical Service Contract Come work as Hospitalist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! Opportunity for Hospitalists at Richmond Hospital. Richmond Hospital is a fully accredited, 228 acute care bed facility serving a local population of 200,000 with an additional catchment area of almost 120,000. Richmond Hospital is focused on meeting the needs of the people it serves and is seeking full time Locum Hospitalists to provide services to acute medicine and ALC populations. The successful applicant will become a member of the Division of Hospitalists within the Department of Family Medicine, and will be required to participate in a call rota. While preference will be given to applicants seeking Full Time positions, consideration will be given to qualified individuals seeking part-time work. The city of Richmond is a unique island city located on the Pacific Coast of British Columbia, in close proximity to downtown Vancouver, Vancouver International Airport and the U.S. border. Nestled in the estuary at the mouth of the historic Fraser River, the city of Richmond offers a unique blend of urban sophistication and rural tranquility, proximity to all kinds of transportation options, sunny weather and endless riverside walking paths that make Richmond a marvelous place to live, work and play. Requirements

Must hold current licensure with the College of Physicians of BC and membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is desired.
