As the regional Trauma and ICU Referral Centre, we handle complex cases that will test and expand your skills and expertise. Our patient demographic is diverse, covering pediatrics to geriatrics, mental health, trauma, and various medical and surgical scenarios, ensuring a rich and fulfilling patient care experience. We are equipped with state-of-the-art onsite medical imaging facilities, including CT and MRI, providing you with the tools and support necessary to excel in emergency medicine. Collaborating with an incredible team of allied health professionals—from mental health and substance use nurses to physiotherapists and round-the-clock respiratory therapists—you’re well-supported to deliver exemplary care. We are deeply involved in facility-wide initiatives, with dedicated funding for meaningful quality improvement projects, allowing you to play a key role in enhancing patient outcomes.
