The Registered Nurse maintains nursing records for patients for whom nursing care is provided.
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
Clinical courses related to the clinical specialty.
Current CPR - Level C.
Knowledge of hospital and clinical specialty policies/procedures.
One year recent related experience in the clinical nursing area (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
Ability to apply nursing skills per standards and unit requirements.
Ability to perform appropriately in emergency situations.
Ability to assume a leadership/supervisory role.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Unit-specific specialty requirements listed (e.g., PAR program with minimum one year PAR experience; BCIT Level 1 Obstetrics and NRP certification; chemotherapy certificate; approved post graduate OR program; etc.).
