The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team. Qualfications Graduation from an approved program of Physical Therapy Full licensee as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).and eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Physical Therapy. Demonstrated post graduate education in orthopedic manual and manipulative therapy (minimum Level III (Part A or B an asset), or an equivalent education). Minimum of three (3) years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. With a minimum of one (1) year experience in a direct access facility diagnosing acute/subacute musculoskeletal injuries.
Graduation from an approved program of Physical Therapy.
Full licensee as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Physical Therapy.
