The Registered Nurse (RN) is a valued member of the interdisciplinary team within the department and organization. They are responsible for the coordination and delivery of quality patient care by assessing and identifying patient needs, implementing and monitoring the patients’ medical plan, and following HPHA policies and procedures. Additionally, the Registered Nurse must follow nursing processes within the profession’s and licensures scope of practice. They will provide education and support to patients and family members.

Candidates must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and hold BLS and Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provincial Standardized certifications. Recent clinical experience in Critical Care, Emergency, or Oncology is preferred.
