About the position

The Housekeeping Attendant is to provide a high standard of cleanliness thought the campus. Be able to clean patient rooms, offices, detox rooms and common areas to GreeneStone standards.

Your duties and responsibilities

  • To clean rooms and offices quickly, neatly and efficiently
  • To ensure all corridors, decks, and common are clean and obstruction free
  • To maintain a neat and clean car, equipment, storage rooms and supplies
  • To assist with in-house laundry and sorting for distribution
  • To maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards patients and staff
  • To maintain a clean and profession appearance
  • To respect all campus equipment and proper and use with care to avoid unnecessary damage
  • Document any deficiencies, including mechanical and electrical problems
  • Label and submit all lost and found items
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and conduct Knowledge of WHMISS and safety standards

What you’ll need to have

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping capacity
  • Proven excellence in patient service
  • Self motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail
  • Must be flexible with working weekend and holidays
  • A minimum of I year experience in all aspects of housekeeping in a multi-use facility required

Care is focused on building a strong foundation for long-term recovery through accredited, evidence-based programming. Our secure virtual counselling services make care more accessible through flexible, remote connections with qualified professionals.

Requirements
