Responsible for working under the direction of the team Physical and/or Occupational Therapists to provide therapeutic programming to clients focused on helping them to achieve their discharge goals. This position works as part of the therapy team to contribute to the client's quality of life by providing appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence. Responsible for other related duties as required. Program Summary: Rehabilitation and Community Transition Program (RCTP) – a short-stay restorative care program that supports medically stable adults who do not need an acute-care level of service, but may require additional assessment, recuperation, and therapy before returning to the community. Qualifications & Experience:
Graduation from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program.
Relevant equivalent training or experience may be considered.
Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential.
Experience with computers preferred. \n
