The Opportunity Physicians will provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care while participating in the inpatient cardiology service.
Responsibilities include: Outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care Inpatient cardiology consultations and management of hospitalized patients Participation in an approximately 1-in-8 shared call schedule Collaboration with experienced nurse practitioners and a multidisciplinary care team Diagnostic Services The practice offers comprehensive, accredited cardiac diagnostic services, including: Echocardiography Stress echocardiography Nuclear cardiology Exercise stress testing Holter monitoring Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) An experienced operations and administrative team manages the day-to-day clinic operations, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.
Applicants must have: Independent or Provisional Certificate of Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) Royal College Certification in Cardiology (or equivalent) Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Why Peterborough?
