About the role

Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care. Participate in the inpatient cardiology service and a shared 1-in-8 call schedule at the Regional Cardiac Centre of Excellence.

MDSearch is recruiting full-time and part-time Cardiologists for a well-established regional cardiology practice in Peterborough, Ontario.

This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient consultative and diagnostic cardiology alongside participation in the inpatient cardiology service at the region's Regional Cardiac Centre of Excellence.

Physicians enjoy a diverse clinical practice with continuity of care, strong administrative support, and the flexibility to build a successful practice while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

A partnership opportunity may also be available.

The Opportunity Physicians will provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care while participating in the inpatient cardiology service.

Responsibilities include: Outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care Inpatient cardiology consultations and management of hospitalized patients Participation in an approximately 1-in-8 shared call schedule Collaboration with experienced nurse practitioners and a multidisciplinary care team Diagnostic Services The practice offers comprehensive, accredited cardiac diagnostic services, including: Echocardiography Stress echocardiography Nuclear cardiology Exercise stress testing Holter monitoring Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) An experienced operations and administrative team manages the day-to-day clinic operations, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.

Qualifications

Applicants must have: Independent or Provisional Certificate of Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) Royal College Certification in Cardiology (or equivalent) Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Why Peterborough? Requirements

Must hold Royal College Certification in Cardiology and a Certificate of Registration with the CPSO. Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is also required.
